Here's one I wrote quite awhile back, ten years or more when I was dealing with a death of a loved one. It is about life, death and how relative it really all is and that lifes journey is really but a circle back to the beginning, 0. I find great hope in this.

Beyond the Moonlight

Death glares stinging

 blood stains the eyes,

in this time of mourning, out pouring

Salty eyes.

In this birth blooming

new bud unaware,

with each breath breathes wisdom

all is fair.

The night is as grand as the light

and in the twilight

the stars look bright.

Somewhere beyond the moonlight......

Somewhere.....beyond the moonlight.

In the coven dark moon you lie on her breast with me and smell the black roses....as the moon rises to smile we stand up again drying our faces. As she becomes the portal window we start to dance! There is much to celebrate because we know the roundness and circle of life.
Beautifully thought out! Death is never easy of a loved one, I can relate, stunning poem :) xx
Thank you ladies, it is greatly appreciated!
I lost three of my best friends over short period of time. They were all very powerful women whose presence I still feel even though they are not physically with me. Experiencing the death of another makes you live differently! I bless my dear ones for making me more aware.
