ACTA would establish a new international legal framework that countries can join on a voluntary basis and would create its own governing body outside existing international institutions such as the World Trade Organization (WTO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) or the United Nations. Negotiating countries have described it as a response "to the increase in global trade of counterfeit goods and pirated copyright protected works."[2] The scope of ACTA includes counterfeit goods, generic medicines and copyright infringement on the Internet.
A signing ceremony was held on 1 October 2011 in Tokyo, with the United States, Australia, Canada, Japan, Morocco, New Zealand, Singapore, and South Korea signing the treaty.

Isn't there enough B.S. going on right now to start a retaliation on ACTA. Far too much is going on in the world to start with this!!!!
The only time we get to vote on anything is when there is an election and our candidate of choice is against ACTA.
Who do they think they are to push this "Bill" through without our concent. Although it happens every day!!
