June 3, 2012 – ITALY – There has been a fall in the number of earthquake tremors recorded in areas across the provinces of Mantova, Modena and Ferrara, where two earthquakes on May 20 and 29 tore devastated churches and businesses, leaving a total of 19 people dead. Between 07:00 and 13:00 today, Italy’s institute for the monitoring of seismic activity (INGV) recorded 7 tremors, compared to several dozen over the same period of time in recent days. This morning, the magnitude of the tremors was thought to be falling and had not risen above a 2.6 on the Richter Scale, but jus hours ago, a 4.8 magnitude earthquake struck 55 km from Bologna, Italy. –AGI.it
