CBK, you manage to project an appearance of unAmerican in your writing, don't worry. However, concerning your manner you appear more like a CIA operative than a Libyan patriot. Good luck.
CBK, you don't have to think like I do, I respect your opinion if you respect mine. Just think the kind of image you give to others while trying to promote the cause of the Libyan people. No-one will believe Gaddafi is alive until there is solid proof of that, so don't undermine your cause by promoting something unbelievable. History has proven that millions or even billions have been wrong already in other issues. Believing is one thing but the reality can be another different one. We live in a world of lies and deception.
BTW, "Less prone": I AM NOT an American...and I happily call Muammar al-Qathafi my BROTHER-LEADER. I am a member of the GREEN-CHARTER/MATHABA and of IPCo---and I do promote the UNIVERSAL Jamahiriya movement!
Also, "LESS PRONE": al-Qathafi is VERY MUCH ALIVE and he is commanding and co-ordinating the Green Resistance. Very soon, the world will be in for a HUGE surprise...
@ "Less Prone:
Being a follower of the Third Universal Theory IS NOT FANATICISM. It is the only salvation for our ailing planet.
Apparently we have a difference of opinion there: but do not call me a fanatic or doing a disservice to the Great Jamahiriya! Millions of others see and love Muammar al-Qathafi as I do.

We are not all insane who do not think like YOU do!
CBK, a word of warning. I don't discredit what you copied below just now, but do you understand that you appear as a fanatic, when stating that my doubts about Gaddafi's sainthood is scepticism. Your fanaticism is doing a disservice to the Libyan people. Are you doing it on purpose or is it genuine, either way it does not further the cause you appear to support, at least superficially. Calm down, and keep the glorification and the cult like fanaticism down and you will not put the people off. As I said before that Gaddafi was a human being, prone to mistakes just like everybody else. I stick to that opinion. I'm aware that Gaddafi did good things to Libyan people and that they would be better off with him. I don't support NATO or any other military alliance and I don't support the NWO as you allege.
I hope I have answered you skeptism, "Less prone"; because if I have not it only shows where your true sentiment lye: with NATO & the NWO !
Mathaba Commentary
The above was from the original Guardian article. Now a commentary to explain some of the questions readers will be wondering. Regular readers will not wonder why MI6 and the CIA deals with and in fact uses, Al-Qaida types, after all, the organization was itself founded by the CIA and MOSSAD. But readers may wonder things such as "what makes the Belhaj types, after being tortured and handed over like tins of fruit by MI6 and the CIA, still have this SLAVISH LOVE for Londonistan, England, similar to the love a dog has for its abuser. We will attempt to throw light on this with the below commentary from Mathaba intelligence analysts.
It is realpolitik. The CIA and MI6 recruit individuals both with incentives and threats or actual harm. Sometimes they are also forced to make arrangements with people they do not or no longer like, however, sometimes these people can backfire as they continue to hold grudges not necessarily expressed publicly. That's what happened e.g. with Saddam Hussein or Idi Amin.
A key element of this policy is to influence or run key people on both sides, always. So if the wind changes, they can switch sides without loss to their permanent interests. For the best analysis of the reality concerning these issues, readers should turn to the book "Surrendering Islam" by Mathaba Author, Dr Sahib Mustaqim Bleher.
As to why the Belhaj's of the world turn to and love Britain, it includes their love of power. England (and US) is giving them the illusion of power, in return they express their gratitude. If they were the only people capable of doing the fighting and removing the existing government (as in Libya now for example), then the Brits and Yanks would have had to make a deal with them. Naturally, Belhadj won't want to spoil this deal now that he has been crowned. But he is still bitter about their betrayal at a time they thought they didn't need him.
Bear in mind that al-Qaeda links are not the reason for him having been mistreated, since al-Qaeda is a CIA setup anyway. More likely, he became a loose cannon and had to be brought back in line after either threatening to divulge information or working with the enemy. The question is, how long, will he remain loyal this time.
If the Yanks recruit you, then working for the Brits can be a crime, trying to get involved with the Russians or Chinese likewise, making a rapproachement with the Gaddafi team can be seen as not following orders, or maybe just threatening to sell secrets; since this guy only emerged as a player with the take-over of Tripoli we don't yet know much about him, but I'm sure we will over time!
Direct rule was expensive and unpopular for Britain as an imperial power and during a wave of granting independence to her colonies was replaced by indirect rule which is much more effective. Indirect rule must never be popular rule, because if a ruler / ruling elite is popular, they might start working in the interest of their own people rather than the outside power. But if they fear their own people then they will look to the outside power for protection and strike a deal.
This is why there has to be ongoing conflict. As long as they different factions only slaughter each other and leave the exploitation of resources the colonial power is interested in unharmed, it is not perceived as a problem. They can settle their own scores provided they guarantee the safety of Western exploitation of oil and minerals, tie their country into foreign debt agreements and buy second-rate / second-hand Western arms in return.
