12160 CMU Shooting Exclusive - Central State Michigan
We are on the ground here in Michigan, our sources are telling us that a 19 yr old black male shot and killed his two parents.
Sources say police know the identity of the shooter.
The shooting is believed to be a domestic related situation.
CMU official only confirmed that two were killed.
The MI State Police Helicopter has joined the operation and is currently searching Mt Pleasant by air for the individual.

CMU student CAPTURED - used gun registered to FATHER,
- Central Michigan University Police Chief Bill Yeagley told reporters Saturday that the gun used in the shooting belonged to Davis Sr., a part-time police officer in the Chicago suburb of Bellwood. He would not say whether the father had brought the gun to campus when picking up his son, but noted that Davis Jr. was seen on video in the dorm's parking lot with the gun before going into the building where his parents were shot.
Yeagley did not say if the gun was Davis Sr.’s service weapon.
