"The 19-year-old was arrested shortly after midnight Saturday after a daylong search by police, who said parents James Eric Davis Sr. and Diva Davis were fatally shot Friday morning inside Campbell Hall at CMU.
The slayings happened on the last day of classes before spring break -- and followed Davis Jr.'s release from a hospital Friday morning following a drug-related issue Thursday night, police told the Lansing State Journal."

CMU student CAPTURED - used gun registered to FATHER,

- Central Michigan University Police Chief Bill Yeagley told reporters Saturday that the gun used in the shooting belonged to Davis Sr., a part-time police officer in the Chicago suburb of Bellwood. He would not say whether the father had brought the gun to campus when picking up his son, but noted that Davis Jr. was seen on video in the dorm's parking lot with the gun before going into the building where his parents were shot.

Yeagley did not say if the gun was Davis Sr.’s service weapon.

Local Scanner radio -  some residents have armed themselves, and are joing the hunt for the suspect, against the wishes of police.
