Political activist Adam Kokesh was released from jail this afternoon.

Kokesh was arrested last Saturday for exercising his First Amendment right at a protest. He called for a “new American revolution” to begin on July 4 with a march on all 50 state capitols.

The release was announced on his Facebook page with the following message and photograph:

Released 130524 with felony charges reduced to citations which I refused to sign. Played hardball. Won. Talk to you Monday.

@James saw the WRH discussion and Mike Riveros continued campaign against our LEGAL show of force. Martial Law ... over this? just not going to happen. Remember he didn't get arrested until everyone was saying it was a bad idea to allow them to set us up for another false flag that would ensure public support for taking the guns. I do not know if it was just ignorance on his part, but he seems sophisticated enough to realize the risk that would present to the entire issue of the 2nd amendment. If I thought about it, then he should have, since I am not near as experienced as he is in this game. I will hold my judgement until I see further evidence one way or the other. something just isn't right thought. Maybe its my womans intuition.
