Putin cranked up the tension between DPRK and US last year so that when Putin told Kim to back off the nuke thing this year Trump would get the credit and a bump in approval ratings at a time when Mueller is turning up the heat.

This 45 meeting with Kim Jong Un is yet just another distraction. The timing is rather suspect given all the bombshells that have dropped this week. Putin is calling the shots, no question. Russia has teamed up with China and NK to play 45 like a fiddle.
