Another ridiculous attempt to push us further into confusion and chaos. The word Amen is of foreign origin and has nothing to do with men. Amen is one variation of a name of an ancient god. Other variations are Amun, Amon and Ammon. The ancient Egyptians combined it with their sun god, thus Amun-Ra. Amen was their main god around 1400 BC but was shortly skipped for Aten, Aton. The son of Amenhotep III, Amenhotep IV, changed his name to Akhenaten just for that reason. The name Amenhotep has a literal meaning "Amun is satisfied".
All these thousands of years the gullible flock has been swearing in the name of an ancient god Amen.
