Gun control, second phase, defenceless civilians are herded at gun point by the government. End of freedom, illusion of democracy, and civil rights.

Kirk, You are right in your definition. However in the current corrupt global society the words have distinct meaning for the people and for the rulers. It's much like in Orwell 1984; WAR is PEACE, IGNORANCE is POWER, and FREEDOM is SLAVERY. The meaning of "gu control" I'm referring to is the ruler's version.
