Chris - Well, a boy could hope. Still, don't be so sure. Don't underestimate their talent for artifice. Once, I posted on a site called Raw Story, an article and video on the local NBC station reporter, who claimed to have been injured in a mass shooting incident. Anyway, her story stunk, she had an ultra-repid recovery, tiny scar, unbelieveable media appearances and so on. The article was about how all these nasty mean conspiracy theorists were "harassing" this young black woman. The article's comments were flooded with negatives, disbelief. When I went back the next day, every disbelieving comment as removed, and replaced with supporting comments (and a couple negatives which sounded like they were written by mentally retarded people). Nothing overtly challenging her story remained. And there were like a thousand comments, or more. All changed overnight, with fake email identities.

Even if it is true, a million people isn't so great as to numbers.  Imagine the stupid things a million people do every day.

Do you both, Chris and JR refer to the new 'covidsafe' phone app ? being promoted full steam as we speak. ( to save lives, because we're all in this together sort of thing ) I wonder how many more people will fall for this trap. Not me and I don't have a appable phone.

I did questioned  the numbers, until I had it confirmed by 2 other sources.

Chris - Don't forget, you heard on the radio, doesn't mean a million people really did. It could be a way to convince people to do it. Both left and right have their reasons to distrust the govt. Maybe a million elderly, and a few millenials and Gen Zers.

Just heard on the radio traveling back home: 1 million sheeple got virus app volunteering to be monitored. My faith in humanity all but disappeared...
