As European, I assume the Cocaine Cartel organize  transport to other Continents by any means. But there should be traces of routes. Cocaine, Opium and Synthetics as illegal trade makes money out of any government administration's control, and further causing a mess in the finances and taxation. So the Drug Problem causes a large society uncontrolled problem. My involvement in Drug Theme is to contribute to develop the suggestion to solve the problem simply legalizing all drugs, so all negative effects of such businesses would, and could be lowered.

The US government is the biggest drug cartel on earth. There's a reason our troops are guarding opium fields in the ME.

Zhivago, thank you for the truth you tell about the wars that were nothing more than smoke screens, for the US government to start the drug trafficking.

There is also the Clinton era. He used his home state as a gateway for his planes cargo hold full of drugs to land and take off under the guise of lost radar. It is a very well known fact. The locals still to this day talk under hushed tones of the activity that goes on at the Mena airport.

Uh...What's new?  A friend of mine was ON a CIA plane which was flown from Vietnam (during the U.S. genocidal assault on the Vietnamese people) to the United States.  The mission?  To bring drugs into the United States to help water down, and eventually stamp out, the '60s Revolution. 

Incidentally, one of the reasons that the U.S. had to get out of Vietnam was due to the unrest in the United States.  Ask any military man of that time, and Google around.  The corrupt U.S. government was afraid that it would lose control of the citizenry, because it was hit and heavy, on the ground, in the States.

The government murdered a lot of people [you'll never hear about it], sent others to prison, drove others insane, hooked others on drugs, blackballed others from jailed, and forced others to leave the country--permanently.

At the same time we were all being told of how "evil" the Soviet system was, which supposedly had even family members spying on one another, and turning each other over to the authorities for suspicion of being against the Communist state.

But, we were WORSE.  Or, "better" at snuffing out dissent.  Oh, you can be free, in the U.S., as long as you keep your damned mouth shut and "stay under the radar," or "keep a clean nose," or "keep a low profile," as our parents used to warn us. 

But the moment you pose a threat (perceived threat or real threat), THEN you see what the government is REALLY about.  Like, Kent State, for instance:

I grew up a Catholic, flag waver.  Mom's apple pie, and all that shit.  I left the Matrix on April 5th, 1968, and have not returned.  So did many others.

Yeah, in the beginning, as I think I might have mentioned here in another post once, drugs had no part of the Movement; of the '60s.  It was the CIA that introduced the drugs, through its various agents, informants, assets, and all of that.

I think that the Soviet Union was better.  Because, they didn't HIDE they're shit.  You KNEW you were being watched.  But in the U.S., the tricks they did were so evil.  And you often couldn't see it coming. 

The development of the '60s drug culture trivialized the Movement, and today people see that time as a time of drug-crazed hippies.  That's not how it was.  That stuff came later, through the CIA.  But, no sense whining about the past.
