So far, I've yet to meet a French woman like this, most appear to have drunk the 'diversity' kool aid.
@LP - I would pick .308 / 7.62 over anything else - personal choice for a battle rifle: G3 type - i.e PTR91. Wasting ammo would not be an intention and I would prefer to be shooting from distance.
But when it comes to belt-fed GPMGs, an M60 or short barreled platform would not be on my list - personal choice: FN MAG (M240) or MG3 / Yugo M53 SARAC.

Some say 308 effective range is a thousand yards but for the velocity necessary for reliable bullet performance, that distance is around 500 yards.
