Personally, I've never liked labels. Labels are often found on the outside of a box and I don't desire the confines of a box no matter how ornate the packaging might be.

Liberals, Conservatives, Neocons, Progressives, Republicans, Democrats, ect, ect, ect......they all have their fare share of a-holes within their labels. Why can't we shed these labels and rise above the confines of the two-party system that has failed us? If we keep allowing the same arguments of the past to dominate our thinking in the now.....we have already lost our future..... to live outside the box and be a free humanity.

I am a Liberal because I believe I have the right to drive what I want and can afford.

I am a Liberal because I reject the false Left Vs. Right paradigm that separates us from the truth.

I am a Liberal because I believe in Freedom and Liberty for everyone.

you are of course quite correct, I should have said specifically the mental frame of mind I was referring to, rather than generalizing. I spent almost 50 years as a democrat, considered myself a liberal, sometimes foot in mouth works to relieve frustration I guess, lately, when I think of liberal, I see a mask of treachery, a web of lies, hiding behind the facade, pretending to be liberals so they can further their agenda, it makes me see red, which is blinding to common sense and faith. If they lose, they still win if we give in to anger, and if they win, they press for more. The only way for individuals to stay ahead is not to play politics, religion, or profiling at all perhaps.
