It's interesting to follow the Ukraine Russia conflict play out on the MSM. Inadvertently, social media paints another picture. Take for instance the Reddit volunteers getting BTFO by Russian military. Every report previously had the Russian military failing. Along comes social media volunteers believing the media and goes to fight for Ukraine. The reality of war changes their perception of they were lucky to live through Russian attacks.
