LP - Next they'll measure one's "carbon footprint" by pre-approving bathroom visits through an official form.  Sorry, you can't go because your paperwork has not been approved.  lol

It would have been much better to have free barbeque and beer for lunch. Another useless profession in Finland; compost inspector or a compost manager. These are some "services" that our government creates in order to waste as much money as possible in useless enterprices.

Our customer service has received inquiries about the compost notice. Below you will find information on making the announcement and the schedule.

Compost

In which case must a composting declaration be made?
You must submit a composting report if biowaste generated in the kitchen is composted in your property , and the property is not included in the scope of biowaste collection. The reporting obligation applies to all properties in Pirkanmaa, including leisure apartments and allotment gardens.

We at Pirkanmaa Jätehuolto do not accept composting notifications, but the notification is made to the waste management authority . The notification must be made by 31 December 2022, so there is no rush. You can make the notification most conveniently in the waste management authority's electronic transaction service, which will be published at the beginning of October. The processing of received notifications will start in autumn 2022.

Examples where a notification must be made:

You are composting bio-waste in a single-family house, which is not included in the scope of bio-waste collection.
At your cottage, you compost bio-waste that does not fall under the scope of bio-waste collection.
You are composting bio-waste in the transplanted garden cottage, and the garden is not included in the scope of bio-waste collection.

Note!

If the same composter is used by more than one small house (a so-called shared composter), the declaration must be made separately for each property
Only one composting notification is made for the composter shared by all members of the housing association.
If you only compost in the summer and suspend the collection of your bio-waste during that time, you must submit a composting report from May to September. The period is always the same and cannot be changed."

And so it goes...just let one of these useless pricks come inspect my back yard.
