Hi steve This is what I've found out. Magnesium is really important along with potassium and calcium. Then - taurine, zinc, and  B6, use tonic water for bubbles of electrolytes. For muscles these vital building blocks create GABA, modified amino acids for receptors found in brain -for mind but also found length of spine that control the vital muscle relaxant functions. {That is the freaky function of rem sleep Paralyses if the balance is not in fine tune and people wake in cramped pain it can be terrifying for them. They realise they can not move or make a verbal sound yet they become consciously aware in their fear, while others have been known to wander outside unconscious and be a danger to themselves and others, sometimes seen in children also. This happens if the body is very low in GABA. In grandma's day this was called night terrors. So it's a very good idea for every one to stock up on that goodness above as well as for the improvement of folks suffering from pain and undue cramp in the evenings. Another strange coincidental, but not irrelevant thing is that Valium - a pill for anxiety also Treats muscle spasms causing pain to subside as it goes to these very same receptor sites. Cramp is a sustained spasm in the calf or foot most often.} As a food snack a banana has all three of the important elements in to start a up a GABA diet of health and flexibility. hope this helps out if you like to try it.

It's good to drink mineral rich water. I noticed that magnesium has a positive effect. Also keeping your feet warm helps, cold muscle cramps more easily. The internet is confused about the actual effect of magnesium, or other minerals. But here is one scientific study that confirms the above.

Hey kea, You seem to have a grasp on medical stuff so do you know of any natural stuff that helps leg/foot/ cramps? My wifey suffers from them I always makes sure she drinks plenty of good spring water and we do cider vinegar on kale and eat pickles but some nights she is on the verge of tears and rubs them with menthol alcohol.

Amendment (error correction.~ tinnitus is Potassium channel disorder. ( getting a few to many channels to remember - vital little networks in the human cells )

Getting more common every single day. Potassium, calcium, and sodium channels stuffed. Which one would you choose if you had a choice rather than the (un) lucky dip that's been dished up to mankind. None, unless you want  the risk of living out your worst nightmares and chained up to them in reality. The young chap in the story above got served up a good dose of potassium channel malfunction. These medical cunts know exactly the common denominator for all the endless suffering the vaccine injured are going through yet in their silence say Nothing to the victims when they turn up at the clinics. Just whatch them run and hide when we the healthy discover the Real truth behind the sorrow and circle of death. Even the common seen problems with folks reporting sudden onset of tinnitus is another channel disorder -calcium. MS from vax attack starts looking like an acetylcholine disorder which has a calcium channel vital to it's performance and so and so on. Lambert eaton syndrome from H1N1 vax attack from the past was a similar problem.
