- I was given a second chance at life a few years ago. I woke up to a world that was so foreign to me; this partially because of a geographical move, but more so because I never did live like most people do. Although I have a college degree, I "opted out" of the path that most of my fellows took. I lived with a man, my husband, now deceased, in an unconventional way..at times even off the grid. I do not subscribe to this greed-fueled way of living. All of that being said, I am a child of a ritualistically, abusive situation that lasted for 10 years of my life. I want to help stop this madness that appears to be thriving now...or at least do a small part in fighting against this evil darkness that permeates through our society.
