Where did they get the name Blackrock for this company and how does it relate to their values? The planets are sometimes referred to as rocks like in the "Third Rock from the Sun". What then might the "black rock" refer to?

The Black Sun

"The Black Sun is a well-known occult and esoteric symbol. Most people are probably aware of the Black Sun because there’s a large mosaic of it incorporated into the floor of the Wewelsburg Castle in Germany. The Black Sun is an ancient symbol and can be seen throughout various cultures and is usually associated with Saturn. Some names for Saturn in ancient astrology were “Great Lord Dark Sun” and “Clothed in Black” and Saturn was apparently referred to as the Black Star in old Judaic beliefs. Saturn was called “black” in the Babylonian cuneiform texts and Greco-Roman writings. As well as calling Saturn “black”, the Babylonians referred to Saturn as the Sun (as the “son of Shamash” and “Star of Helios”). Given this, Saturn would have been considered the “Black Sun” to the Babylonians."
