Walking Through Heaven's Door by Phil Manzanera from the LP "K-Scope" last minutes of life before a DOA?
Phil Manzanera lead guitarist for Brian Ferry's Roxy Music where Brian Eno also began recorded many solo albums and guest appearances for other artists. He even backed Pink Floyd's David Gilmour live in concert tours. In this song "Walking Through Heaven's Door" are we talking about the last impressions of a man's life before a fatal drug overdose? Sadly, then as now the prospect of an overdose especially at epidemic proportions now with fentanyl we go back in time and find things are much like the present.

tjdavis Oh yeah man I have a ton of his albums and Listen Now is one of 'em. It was a bit of a visionary work detailing the police state effect over a society too afraid to speak out. In that time it was the oppression of the Irish fighting for their independence! Great work. Thanks for your support!
