A poll posted on Infowars.com reveals that 70% of respondents believe the United States will attack Iran in response to the country developing a nuclear program. 30% said this is not likely.
Following a United Nations IAEA report released earlier this week accusing Iran of working on nuclear weapons, calls for a strike on the Islamic state intensified.
The New York Times – infamous for its deluge of pro-war propaganda prior to the invasion of Iraq – has characterized the latest IAEA report as “chillingly comprehensive.” The newspaper, however, stopped short of calling for an attack. The Times had previously fulfilled its role as a propaganda conduit for the Pentagon and intelligence agencies in the lead-up to the invasion of Iraq by publishing lies about Saddam Hussein and weapons of mass destruction.
The latest IAEA report consists of a “secret annex” suppressed under the agency’s former director, Mohamed ElBaradei. He refused to publish the information because it did not pass the level of scrutiny required to ascertain that it was genuine, notes Gareth Porter. According to Porter, the information was suspect because most of it was submitted by the Israelis. It is the Israelis and Mossad, Porter contends, who “are the ones who had the motive and the opportunity” to create fallacious information now offered as fact by the IAEA.
Despite the reluctance of the establishment media to call for an attack by the United States, it now appears likely that Israel will go it alone and attack Iran’s nuclear facilities. As we noted on Tuesday, the United States and NATO have backed away from becoming involved in a conflict that would spark economic and geopolitical turmoil.
Tensions between the United States, NATO and Israel have not prevented opportunistic saber-rattling by U.S. politicians. Appearing in the Wall Street Journal today, establishment Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney said that if he was in the Oval Office he would “prepare for war” with the Islamic republic. “‘Si vis pacem, para bellum.’ That is a Latin phrase, but the ayatollahs will have no trouble understanding its meaning from a Romney administration: If you want peace, prepare for war,” he said.

Clarification, to further develop nuclear technologies. I was commenting under the assumption that most everyone knows they have nuclear technologies and the technology to develop enriched uranium can also be used to enrich it to a higher level for nuclear explosion. Iran hid their enrichment program from the UN Security Council for 18 years. That is why we have the saber rattling we do to this day. To scare populations into thinking Iran is developing, "the bomb" against UN charter and in violation of international law.
You're absolutely correct, it is fear mongering, and Russia and China have stated that aggressions against Iran are synonymous to aggressions against them. Be that as it may, Iran is still going to get hit with air strikes eventually. It is inevitable. Like World War is inevitable. Remember Georgia in 2008? That was a proxy skirmish initiated by America against Russia. Future, Israeli aggressions against Iran could be viewed in the same light. Don't forget we aided Iraq in the Iraq - Iran war. The U.S provided several billion dollars worth of economic aid, we provided weapons and technology, we conducted covert military operations that provided the Iraqis with military intelligence, spec ops training; U.S forces engaged in warfare against Iran. These matters were no secret at the time, mostly blacked out of the mass media, however discussed openly in the Senate and The House.
The war to bring about the New World Order is expanding. It is getting worse. First Afghanistan, then Iraq, Pakistan, Libya, revolution and civil unrest world wide. Not to mention the economic warfare being waged world wide; the consolidation of wealth. The war on the American people is a part of that. Iran, N. Korea, Russia, and China all have their place in it. There is no way around it, Iran must fall if they are to have their way, i.e world government. Just like Libya, just like Venezuela eventually, N. Korea, and all rogue nations that are not on board with world government and U.S nation building. Even nations that are on the fence, that partially support world government, like China and Russia, they are in the cross-hairs too, and they know it.
Iran may have suicide brigades, but that does not matter to the globalists. They have N.A.T.O (28 countries' military might) and their figurative castle walls to hide behind.
"We shall have World Government, whether or not we like it. The only question is whether World Government will be achieved by conquest or consent."
James Paul Warburg appearing before the Senate on 7th February 1950
I'd like to believe that. But Iran must fall for them to have their New World Order. And they are NOT going to allow Iran to develop nuclear technologies. War is big business and any excuse they have to attack is a good one. Hate to say it, but Iran, is just around the corner. Agree to disagree, but I wouldn't bet it all ;)
Was Israel Behind a Deadly Explosion at an Iranian Missile Base?
Israeli newspapers on Sunday were thick with innuendo, the front pages of the three largest dailies dominated by variations on the headline "Mysterious Explosion in Iranian Missile Base." Turn the page, and the mystery is answered with a wink. "Who Is Responsible for Attacks on the Iranian Army?" asks Maariv, and the paper lists without further comment a half-dozen other violent setbacks to Iran's nuclear and military nexus. For Israeli readers, the coy implication is that their own government was behind Saturday's massive blast just outside Tehran.
A look at this beautiful country and people about to be.....well, attacked by evil, greed and stupidity.

@ Davol
It's only a matter of time until we attack Iran. Even the Republicans are campaigning that they would attack if elected, and THEY are the front runners. Americans are ruled by fear and if they can be even partially convinced that they are safer if we attack, Americans will support air strikes and any other measures used.
Sad news is, despite what you may think, or anyone else for that matter, majority of Americans still support this war. That is one of the battles of public perception we have yet to win.
@Arch
If you know Alex and his operation, this is clearly a counter intelligence strategy. Every time the msm bangs the war drums on any country, the tip of the spear has to sound the alarm. Purely a preventive measure as usual.
I'm not one to knit pick (good) people doing for more than myself concerning matters of war/info war. What Alex has done in the past and continues to do, e.g this poll, is textbook counter intelligence. The fog of war is forever grey and few things are straight forward black and white. To expect different is to lack the necessary knowledge required to have insight into such matters.
Alex Jones, works with what he has. If that so happens to be an Israeli intelligence outfit so be it. Debka has been accurate in the past -- consequently making any analysis of theirs potentially credible. There is also something to be said for 70% of people in the know agreeing that an attack on Iran is inevitable. Consider this, if Obama was going to attack Iran when would he likely do it? It's really the perfect opportunity for him to grandstand and save us from the evil Iranians just in time for the election.
@Tara
They have to dominate the region and Iran is surrounded by US forces already. See PNAC where they drafted plans for full spectrum domination of the region. Also take a look at a world map and realize that Iran is bordered by Afghanistan and Iraq; we have them surrounded. Iran is not a controlled sock puppet regime. No doubt tyrannical, however rogue. Much like North Korea. In order for the globalists to have their world order they must overthrow these rogue nations or defeat them through military conquest or both.
If all of these countries were on board with global government, make no mistake, we would already have it.
What a loaded poll question. I tried to find the source for the claim that Obama said he would attack Iran in 2012.
Its based on a supposed subscribers only article from Debka, a well known propaganda organ of the Israeli Mossad that very often lies.
Why is AJ quoting from Israeli Propaganda in a leading question?
A poll like that cannot be taken seriously.
@ Davol, I totally agree with you. How many more times will we hear the war drums keep thumping on the Iran situation? It's like in theatre, where you have to have a villian and heroine and nothing in between can interrupt the plot. The same old story time and time again. And if the story is anything like "Macbeth", it surely is a suicide. It's only time before the curtain falls on the one who has chosen the dark side.
Wars and rumors of wars. @ Nikki......yes, wouldn't that be wonderful !
I wonder how Obama would feel about sending his own kids into battle?
Wouldn't it be nice to live in a country that would strongly criticize these attacks?
