BREAKING: Bill Cosby Charged With Felony In Sexual Assault
Bill Cosby, whose public persona was altered from lovable American comedic icon to sexual predator after more than 40 women accused him of abuse, was charged Wednesday in connection with a sexual assault in which he is accused of drugging his victim in his home in a Philadelphia suburb.
Authorities in Pennsylvania announced at a news conference that Cosby is charged with aggravated indecent assault, a first-degree felony. He was expected to be arraigned later in the afternoon.
The charges, filed in connection with a 2004 assault in Cheltenham Township, were announced by Montgomery County District Attorney-elect Kevin Steele.http://patch.com/pennsylvania/abington
