The Black Swan the unforeseeable event that goes on
Just another scheme of the evil ones we dance upon
Taken by surprise by the inevitable Black Swan
The convenient excuse for tragedy and death beyond,
The inevitable stumbling block of man
The changing of fortune slipping through my hands
A destiny precariously built on shifting sands
A history of disaster from faulty commands,
The Gods of war all beating their drums
The Black Swan upon its instrument strums
Life or death decided by the direction of a thumb
They might call themselves leaders but they’re really scum,
It’s a Black Swan on an eerie day
Of course the peasants will be forced to pay
The chopping block on Judgment Day
Don’t leave me Baby please stay!
We’re all betrayed by destiny
Some will be enslaved while some are set free
Like a Black Swan or don’t you agree?
Nothing is really what it’s supposed to be,
Because of that unavoidable Black Swan
That we can blame everything on
The perfect storm that and you’re the pawn
Oh Lord just one last dawn,
Like an eclipse in ancient times
When civilization turned on a dime
The foreboding comet an evil sign
