Breaking The Taboo: A Documentary About Ending The War On Drugs

http://www.breakingthetaboo.info/

The War on Drugs has failed. After 50 years of prohibition, illicit drugs are now the third most valuable industry in the world after food and oil, all in the control of criminals. Drugs are cheaper and more available than ever before. Millions of people are in prison for drugs offences. Corruption and violence, especially in producer and transit countries, endangers democracy. Tens of thousands of people die each year in drug wars.

Improving our drug policies is one of the key policy challenges of our time. The time for action is now.

You have 2 things mixed up.   Monsanto (evil company), and the war against people/drugs (evil idea).    Check out LEIP where law enforcement is also against Probition, any probition.   The "evil idea" now is big money/big business, and that problem is very difficult  to correct - too many people making too much money.

Declaring war on an inanimate object is clearly insane. Outlawing a medical condition is a crime in itself. Drug use, abuse, or addiction are not criminal acts, making them so incites violence. US citizens have the right to put in their bodies what they choose, until it's enumerated otherwise in the US Constitution.

Thanks for the info.

I think they will fail. Most everywhere pot laws change people are being given the legal ability to grow their own usually 6 mature plants.  People are more and more avoiding monsanto and GMO, by the time it's federally legal and they get in, the grassroots will shun them even if their pot is "better". I would imagine their pot would have a toxic chemical profile that gets the user much higher, tastes better and destroys their brain in the process.

GMO Cannabis Watch

Is Monsanto Ready to Enter The Medical Marijuana War?

GMO, Monsanto, and the future of cannabis?

If theres money to be made, the corportions can't be trusted not to try to snatch it all

They'll legalize it partially but keep the monopoly on growing and distribution, your home grown and their competition will still be banned

Monsanto for drug legalization? can I haz more info on that?

Don't know how they think they can bank off everyone growing their own pot in their back yard? I can't imagine stoners buying seeds from monosatan.

Fine and Good, just make sure Monsanto et all aren't lurking behind all those legalization initiatives
