Strange creatures on the surface of the planet

Sending signals to my dreams with a full metal jacket

Was this the way the creator planned it?

Some people just mumble as they sit,

Would it be better if I were deaf, dumb, and blind?

So I wouldn’t be upset over what I find

The agitators have established the dividing lines

At the defensive perimeter no one is kind,

I’m much too sentimental over yesterday

I’m afraid isolation is here to stay

In this world like it is no other way

At the foot of this grave where I lay,

It seems now fall is setting in

Can’t remember where all summer I’ve been

Oh save me before the doldrums begin

The bitter fate of mankind seems to grin,

Abductions upon a fishing boat

Out in nature at night so remote

Frightening memories later come afloat
