Democrats Celebrate GOP Failure To Repeal Obamacare

When Speaker of The House, Paul Ryan failed to deliver the required votes to defeat the existing Affordable Care Act the US media was quick to publish congratulatory articles depicting Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi mocking President Trump and praising their flawed national insurance fiasco. Pelosi, whose pathetic remarks such as, " we will have to pass the bill so we can see what's inside of it," epitomizes the response of Democrats who continue to tout the ACA which is destined to implode anyway. The fact that Obamacare has already gone far over budget with decreasing benefits and scheduled increases in rates is inevitable only further demonstrates the need to get rid of it!

Not enough for conservatives

Analysts point out that President Trump can simply use regulatory measures to gut ACA and prevent the flawed legislation from having much impact anyway. Tom Price is poised to use administrative directives to further reduce the effectiveness of the much maligned nationalized health insurance plan that is projected to implode by 2018. The Democrats lauded the failure of the GOP to convince the conservatives on the Freedom Caucus that a repeal without having a plan that would reduce premiums would only perpetuate an already bad health care plan. Although there were definite improvements that included a risk pool for pre-existing conditions, a non mandatory clause for those opting not to participate, and the ability to allow coverage to be obtained across state lines, still the cost factor was in question by the conservatives.

Ryan ineffective

Paul Ryan has not been the faithful Speaker of The House that he should have been. not being as influential as he had promised. Having adopted all spending proposals his impotent predecessor, John Boehner, proposed Ryan has not proven to be a consistent force to lead the republican charge.  Mitch McConnell, Senate Majority Leader assured Republicans he would not need to impose the nuclear option in order to get the votes needed, but this proved another tactical blunder by the GOP. The Republicans still have the upper hand in being able to administrate ACA into virtual nonexistence or make another run at the problem after attaining more of a consensus among the party by negotiating further refinements to the replacement.

Crooked Democrat response

The fact that Hillary Clinton would mock President Trump in all her bitterness over being denied her entitlement to the oval office clearly defines the Democrat approach to political operation. They have no concern for the tax payer or the patient with a staggeringly inefficient and costly national health care plan and simply obstructing GOP efforts to create an improved plan for the sake of the people because they are only concerned with ruling the citizenry not looking after their best interests. Besides, ACA was created through backdoor deals, midnight meetings, and bribing states into compliance will hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer funds. Gloating over the failure of a newly proposed alternative to their inherently problematic health plan illustrates the immature attitude of deficient leadership dolled out by the Democrats.

The continuance of a costly and ineffective nationalized health care program illustrates just exactly why the federal government should stay out of the private sector and let the free markets do what they do best!
