The Great Myth of Government Created Utopia

When the Continental Congress Convened and our founding fathers put the final touches on the Bill of Rights and the US Constitution, a woman approached Ben Franklin asking just what it was that the Continental Congress had just created for the 13 Colonies. Benjamin Franklin responded in a typically instructive manner when he said, "What we have done is to give you a Constitutional Republic if you can keep it."

The forgotten vision

Those words have become emblazoned in the consciousness of the American dream if not by the people struggling to succeed, following their dreams, or living like stunned deer in the headlights of a motorist the nation is emblematic of a greater purpose that serves all mankind with the concept of inalienable rights. The revolutionary premise that God not government bestows the right to pursue happiness upon the masses runs diametrically opposed to the collectivists, the statists, the feudal system that proclaimed that government took precedent over the individual. That government was God!

As opposed to our founders

When George Washington, Commander in Chief, of all colonial armies and naval forces rejected the proposition that he be crowned king of the new republic, the very defining moment of the republic could not have been illustrated more succinctly. He did accept the presidency which was never intended to be wielded as it was under one Barack Hussein Obama, who bypassed Congress at every corner, and authorized historical levels of deficit spending that threaten to bankrupt the nation. Yet, for a Congress and Senate who allowed a presidency to be operated like a dictatorship, our founding fathers would have called for a purge within the ranks of the federal government. Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson foresaw that in order to maintain a pure constitutional republic at times blood would have to be spilled so that America did not become a mirror image of England and everything the colonists had fought in order to preserve their new nation.

Folly of big government

Our forefathers never intended government to be the source of all remedies through the appropriation of funding by confiscatory means. They never wanted the constitutional republic to tax and regulate the citizens into a position of such fiscal stress and restriction that we would have the kind of nation that exists now where our lawmakers on Capitol Hill will legislate 3 thousand new regulations and laws each year. Laws and regulations that can incriminate law abiding citizens through such government double speak as "ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law" yet the IRS will never testify in court how they come up with their taxing formula The EPA will threaten and harass small business men with vague statutes that they often misquote and cannot even legally defend in court.

Police State

Using the complex, convoluted, and numerous avalanche of federal legislation that even the regulatory agencies cannot accurately enforce is indicative of one and only one singular definition and that is a police state! When the press is controlled by the federal government, when labor unions collude with the government to buttress regulation, when federal government spending exceeds the Gross National Product, the people have become ruled beneath the thumb of unelected bureaucrats exercising their agenda despite the best interests of the people they forgot it was their duty to serve!

Not God

This is the myth of government created utopia, the false promise of the federal government to fairly represent the people and promise that they will cure every ill, remedy each social conflict, and equalize the playing field for all. They do this using bias, suffocating restrictions, awarding the undeserving by stealing from the hard working, and using propaganda to justify the very inequity they have created with excessive taxation and over regulation. History repeats itself time and time again once the bureaucrats have decided that the government has the right to ignore the will of the people and knows better than they do what is best for them! Government is at its worst acting like a divine entity wiser than the people!

Democrat deception

Steering public opinion with the same rhetoric as what Stalin and Lenin used to orchestrate the Bolshevik Revolution, is but one of the many fallacies used by Democrat Party politicians to intentionally mislead the people. Saul Alinsky, another false prophet of Communism who figures largely in the Democrat Party arsenal of lies was fascinated by how the Mafia used violence and intimidation to control their opposition. He advocated using the same sadistic tactics in liberal politics. Mark Levin, former Inspector General, under President Reagan noted that the federal government used tax payers money to fund the printing and distribution of "Rules For Radicals" Alinsky's ode to socialism and how to forcefully implement it. Why would our government utilize tax dollars to advocate an ideology that is counter to free enterprise and American exceptionalism? This illustrates totalitarian shift in federal government agenda.

Instigating social unrest

Freedom of speech, the first amendment, does not guaranty the right of government to sanction diametrically opposed ideology. Freedom of speech does not give special interest groups the right to march in the streets and call for the death of the police. Freedom of speech does not give opposing political parties such as the GOP and Democrats the right to orchestrate violent demonstrations in an attempt to undermine the other campaign using the tactics of Stalinists and Brown Shirts, but in today's America under the Democrat Party this is exactly what has been unleashed through disingenuous speeches and intentionally false narratives designed to mislead.

Government footprint defined

The evidence of the modern day myth of government sanctioned utopia can be seen in the "Rust Belt" of America, US cities under Democrat rule for decades that have degenerated into slums, inner cities battle grounds, and closed factories that were once the pride of American industry. From New York state to the Midwest from Buffalo to Detroit to Flint Michigan, the American dream lies buried under the mismanagement of Democrat administrations where cities like Chicago boast record shooting deaths under the strictest gun control laws in the country. The myth of government created utopia can be measured in the cases of rape and violent crime committed by growing illegal immigrant population lovingly allowed to flow into our communities unvetted, unprosecuted, and enabled by a President and US Attorney General who sued the states for upholding laws that the nation's capital refused to enforce! Welcome to government induced utopia!
