Define Consciousness and who is Aware and Who Really is Unaware

As human beings we credit ourselves as being the most sentient species on the planet. We record history, design mechanical structures, have created Artificial Intelligence, and we produce energy. You may think chimps are so smart and so much like us, but you won’t see them involved in rocket science any time soon. Yet, we have our limitations and believe it or not, even plants have awareness. Humans see a very small part of the light spectrum and hear a small portion of the frequency of sound waves. So, we have a limited range of senses to begin with. To demonstrate this why is it that horses and cattle will act strangely before an earthquake while most people will be oblivious? Because they have certain senses we don’t have.

Lower organisms have awareness

Scientists know that even plants have awareness. If one plays symphonic music to plants they grow faster and healthier. In a harmonious environment they give off a positive reading to an encephalograph, but if violence takes place around them or disruption they will give off a disturbed reading. According to author, John Keel, a plant that was in the presence of a murder was used to identify the killer as in his presence the plant have off hysterical readings. Plants even have muscular movement that enables them to move toward sunlight. It is a type of muscularity similar to animals only using plant turgor rather than skeletal muscle. In most cases plants move slower than humans or animals too. So, we know that plants and animals have their own spectrums of environmental awareness, and some even exceed our own senses.

Predicting tragedy?

In the book “Mothman Prophecies” actual events indicate that witnesses came into contact with an entity that was capable of seeing further down the road to anticipate disasters such as the collapse of the Silver Bride near Gallipolis, Ohio. Apparently this being had the senses that exceeded mankind’s capacity, and was able to see into the future, a little further down the road than those living in the towns of Point Pleasant, West Virginia and Gallipolis, Ohio. Think for a minute on this.

Who are they?

A plant can’t see the human beings who move faster and have a superior set of senses. To a plant things probably magically appear without explanation due to its lack of sophisticated senses. What if among us human beings there are those who exist in a different light spectrum or vibrational state that we are unaware of, and who can see further into the future than we can? To us their presence and activity would seem inexplicable. What would we call them? Aliens from another world? Interdimensional interlopers? Time travelers? Fallen angels? Have they always been here alongside us only due to our sensory limitations we just didn’t recognize them only telltale signs of their presence? John Keel called them “Ultra Terrestrials”, those who very well may dwell among us yet go undetected.

Where script writing and reality meet

In the movie “Mothman Prophecies” actor Alan Bates plays a professor who has been captivated by the rabbit hole of the unknown going back to ancient history. When Richard Geer whose character “John Kline” approaches Alan Bates the character is reticent to help or get involved due to the fact that his entire life has been wrecked in pursuit of the unknown. “So, the universe looked down suddenly and picked you,” says Alan Bates, a man who has lost his entire family due to his obsession. In this bizarre reenactment of the John Keel’s original book, John Kline, Richard Geer’s character loses his wife and becomes involved with the people of Point Pleasant who are seeing a bizarre creature, suffering from strange visions, and even having reported cases of conjunctivitis, eye inflammation that results from exposure to radiation. Was the Mothman trying to warn the people of impending disaster, but couldn’t quite breach the gap between our limited sense and its enhanced sensory capability to convey what it knew? Or, was Mothman simply a demonic entity? We’ll probably never know.
