Here on Easter Day, which I missed submitting to you, are some intriguing events. Beginning at a 30-year reunion for members of a military nuclear bomb unit, flashbacks are presented that follow the attempts of Major Jesse Marcel to discover the truth about strange debris found on a local rancher's field in July of 1947. Told by his superiors that what he has found is nothing more than a downed weather balloon, Marcel maintains his military duty until the weight of the truth, however out of this world it may be, forces him to piece together what really occurred. The last real life testimony of retired USAF Colonel, Jesse Marcel, dying of lung cancer, who gave a live TV interview to Astro Physicist, Stanton Friedman, about the unearthly materials he handled and recovered from the crash site on the ranch that Mac Brazel had been managing at the high desert ranch. Stating that the foil-like thin metal could not be burned or cut, and that it had a memory that allowed it to completely unrumple itself to like-new condition after being crushed, led him to his evaluation, but that wasn’t all! There other light weigh materials that were extremely strong included in the recovered wreckage. He even showed his son, Jesse Marcel, Jr. who would end up becoming an Air Force flight surgeon what he had taken from Mac Brazel before turning in the artifacts to his superiors.
The movie, directed by Jeremy Kagan, had an all-star cast of characters starring Ian Mc Laughlin as Marcel, Martin Sheen as a mysterious government agent, and country western singer, Dwight Yoakam, as rancher, Mac Brazel. This UFO movie is probably one of the best ever, and sticks to the historical facts quite well. I personally attended the film’s unveiling and a discussion about the Roswell Crash with one of the filming cast and staffers included as a host to the affair.
What the host did was to add his new expose of his new film that dealt with the lost years of Jesus’s ministry after his teenage years when he left his parents for a mission into unknown territory. According to the assistant director, who not only helped create the movie “Roswell” but played a minor role as a US Air Force officer during the Roswell crash discovery, was to reveal that he had archaeological evidence to the effect that Jesus had entered India for a time, spreading his gospel to the people in that region prior to returning to the Middle East where he would eventually be crucified on Calvary Hill. Unfortunately, it was treated as more of a distraction from the audience fascination with the Roswell Incident than it should have been as many have alluded to the lost books of the Bible not included in the King James version, but just as amazing a story if not more so than the crash of an alien disk recovered by the 509th Bomb Group out of Walker Air Base.
The questions pertaining to both stories are compelling. Why did the stories of the Bible not include a number of years that Jesus pursued his ministry prior to returning to Nazareth? Why are we still grappling with the questions about the Roswell cover-up and whether or not the Roswell crash 75 miles north of the city itself was an accident, pilot error, knocked down by powerful targeting radars of the time, or perhaps, the ceded technology of another civilization to mankind gift wrapped as a crash site? These are the mysterious events of our history that may never be revealed or simply being speculated about.
