Enslaved To Kill & Die

I despise telephones and computers, technology as a whole,,,
But I’m among one of its used…
This love affair we all have, has turned us into slaves,,,
We’ve become the walking, living dead,,,
Enslaved to commit mass murder,,,
Faithful employees creating deadly agents for all
to consume; all for a paycheck to ‘survive’ to
to kill and eventually die,,,

Plain to see family visits to Aunt Wilhelmina’s
or Grandma and Grandpas house don’t happen anymore,,,
Or vacationing to a friends, that now lives
in Tucson,,,
No fishing today Billy, I just don’t have
the time; (‘Facebook’ or on
my ‘SMART’ phone is where you’ll find me,,,)
I’m as guilty as the next, yet I sit around viewing
in pure horror, not the kind induced watching
a murder flick,,,
This type of horror can’t be compared,,,

Blood dripping, limb to limb, on face after face,,,
Yet to blind to see the very life blood is being
drained from their souls; like a corpse in the
local mortuary preparing to be embalmed,,,
Mere funerals can no longer go on without a
fight, bloodshed or even murder taking place,,,
Look another funeral to plan, when we all could’ve
been enjoying quality family time at the lake,,,

True communication where did it end,,,
It’s like a particle of dust drifting in the wind;
we catch a glimpse of from the corner of our
eye, every now and then,,,

Enemies they want us all to become;
makes for an easier slaughter,,,

So many things becoming extinct because
we set the ball in motion, yet we
complain because so many things are now mirages,,,
Start spending time infused with quality,,,
Instead of a ghostly passing in some strange hall,,,
Stop being enslaved by the newest gadget or
app on the market,,,
Wake up for your sake; wake up simply for
the sake of possibly making a difference, and
helping others before you die,,,
