Only because they are finding it difficult to control and collect the tax on weed.

There are more deaths every year from cigarettes and alcohol to keep them busy for many, many, years, but its still okay to sell that stuff.

The amount of tax dollars wasted on stupid pot laws is utterly ridiculous. All for naught. The only people that would be hurt by decriminalization/legalization would be the lawyers hired to fight the stupid charges.
