Fees, Fines and Royalties. Wes Aug 21st 2013
(after the virus-attack, a burnt drive, income-tax hack and plant-closure)

And let's not forget taxes.

Big-brother is nickel and dimeing us to death, and the nasty part of this is, a lot of it is our own fault.

No, this is not a traffic-camera rant. At a 10% for sending pics in, most days I won't even to go to work. There are LOTS of bad drivers out there.

You have cable and the web, right? The only reason your home computer is not a web-site is that the cable companies want to upsell you to a server.

That handy little stalker spy-phone of yours have radio yet? FM? CB, shorts, etc etc etc. No?

The TV that watches you a home-broadcaster anytime soon?
(Eww. Good Lord, Rock around the Lamppost Part Two. In HD. With fat kids that don't know the difference between satire and disgusting.
Where 'No, YOU suck!' is considered wit. Yuck. Pardon me while I go kill the TV, wouldja? Ah, just in case, you know?)

OK, so education, medicine and the legal system are all treated as money-makers first, services second. Censored ed, producing robots. Experimental meds making more problems than they solve.

And a legal system designed to produce cannon-fodder, not justice.

Which brings us back to the royalties thing. Pay-per-view, usage and listen. Buy the byte, right?

They are getting preemptive in convictions again.

I've had people create bank accounts, then send bills in for me. Things are only gonna get worse there.
Finding the evidence needed to get rid of someone was first, right? Universities ASSUME you make 75.00 worth of Xeroxes a year and bill you for it in your fees. (Canada)

My, none of them have been students anytime in the last couple of centuries, have they?

My, how predatory. There'll be a few less police forces soon.

Seems logical to me.

Fortunately for me, I dropped TV long ago. They were going to have to pay me to watch BEFORE the new mill hit. Now they want to charge for it? HA!

(Say, and new super-heros out there? Past transformers, turtles, etc? WHY? Does sponge-bob or dora count? Amie. Really? 12 year olds are cute, but not dating-material to me.)

Oh yeah, the penguins. Naturally. Fort salivate-13 in space, next. With Harvey Muddy, a different space-invader every week (attack of the religious loons) and the f—kup factory hard at work.

Vampires, zombies and people living the dream. Looks like a mercury over-dose to me.

Like the Dr suess fable. Air is next.
(Ask the West coast how they like their radiation sicknesses. Oh, by the way, I visited iceland DURING the eruption that closed europe. I just came in the upwind side and didn't have any problems.)

Bah, humbug, fooey. Everything that happens outside the home, the corps patient. Or trolls do. Or the authorities want a fee for.

And get the hell off my lawn while I'm at it, I guess.

Oh, and by me... SF moves best, then cartoons, then fantasy. (in the tens, but what the hey...)
