Defense of and assault, not. Just pointing out that PT is a branch of the Brazilian communist party and they did irreparable damage to the country. The Brazilians finally got fed up with their corruption and kicked them out. Lula's son had a career boost from zoo cleaning worker to a successful business man, all exposed in Lava Jato investigation.

Less Prone - Is that a defense of the assault, by the way? I saw an interview of Greenwald in hich he said Bolsonaro personally attacks him publicly on television because he is gay. If his journalism was bad, wouldn't you want to attack that instead, with whatever facts you could muster? Finally, yes, the left is off it's rocker on a  lot of issues, but did you cheer when antiwar and cop block were deplatformed along with the right? When Gabbard knocks the warmongers on Tucker Carlson's show?

I'm not a leftist, and I don't know much about Brazil, but knowing Greenwald doesn't pull punches on Israel, and the idea that he's been physically assaulted even while on television because of his journalism, inspire me to trust him.

So left, right and center in Brazil are corrupt? "But at least" Bolsonaro is the lesser of two evils? Huh. Completely unlike our situation in the US, heh.

If you believe that Lula is innocent and Bolsanaro  is a crook you have swallowed the propaganda hook, line and sinker. I spent seven years in Brazil during the presidency of Lula and Dilma Russoff, both members of the so called Workers Party (PT). For twelve years Lula and Dilma run a political circus and bilked a total of 300M USD from Petrobras, a Brazilian state owned oil company.

They appointed their own incompetent leader with political agenda to the company with sad results. Petrobras was on a brink of going bankrupt and must be in very bad shape still. Now we have to realize that Brazil is a deeply corrupt country, left, right and center and it is very difficult to root it out at this point. Bolsanaro is no saint, but at least he tries to improve the country instead of stealing all he can. Why is it that anyone with common sense is called right wing extremist but the socialist airheads are not called extreme left, what they actually are? You know why!

Credibility of that Common Dreams, "exposing" the unethical and criminal behavior of Bolsanaro, site is very bad. They are a controlled media, promoting man-made global warming hoax, LGBT illusions, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, bashing ICE and control of illegal immigration, support Kamala Harris , Bernie Sanders  and the leftist scum.
