I don't think its for mind control any more than the analog system. It might just do a better job because it comes in more clearly. They also want it to be able to take over all broadcasts instantly. I already have DirecTV and its all digital ... for that matter I've had digital cable for years before that. Its about the FEMA control and as well as stopping the pirate TV broadcast stations.
