Recently, Trey Gowdy instructed some of his bungling GOP establishment colleagues to "shut up" in making their uninformed comments over the current Benghazi investigation. Gowdy said of Hillary Clinton that she was not worth 18 months of his life. To date their have been 60 witness testimonies logged by the current committee. Thursday will mark a potentially dramatic confrontation between Trey Gowdy's examination of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's actions during the course of a 13 hour assault that was directed at the US Consulate in Benghazi Libya 12 September 2012.

Excuses

Thanks to a thoughtless comment by Kevin McCarthy, who decided not to inherit the Speaker of the House position vacated by John Boehner saying that the prior impotent Benghazi investigations that lacked legal authority to override the incessant stonewalling of the Obama White House, that the political impact of the committees was to hurt Hillary's chances at being elected as the DNC's candidate for the presidency. The embattled Hillary campaign quickly latched onto this opportunity to try and accuse the GOP of politicizing her role in the Benghazi saga. it is clear Hillary Clinton wants it to go away. Her ardent supporters want Benghazi to go away, and the US media is chomping at the bit to relegate this deplorable chapter in US diplomatic history to the vast cobwebbed attic of Democratic Party disasters. Most of all, Hillary wants any mention of those damned emails to be silenced!

The committee

Yet, the legal and rightful inquiry for the truth has led Trey Gowdy and his panel on a journey in unraveling the lies and deceptions used to hide the criminal negligence that resulted in the deaths of 4 Americans who fought for their lives but were intentionally denied rescue, 19 additional US Embassies through out North Africa and the Middle East being destroyed by radical Islamists, and additional state department staffers who were wounded in the bloody process. Without retribution militarily or legally these abominable acts were allowed to go unanswered and justice was not served. The dead speak to us from beyond the grave and demand that those responsible atoned for their deeds.

The big lie

Appearing on Arab TV to apologize for a little known You Tube video along with President Obama that supposedly angered the Muslim world even after the arrival of a DIA assessment that defined the Benghazi attack was indeed a calculated and heavily armed act of terrorism, Hillary Clinton did nothing to explain why she ignored Ambassador Stevens repeated requests for back up as the enemy tightened the noose on a targeted compound in the days before the final assault. In the wake of American deaths our president and secretary of state chose to appease our enemies rather than focus on the loss of American lives. A stand down order was issued by an unnamed executive branch official in the White House that sealed the fate of our Ambassador, 2 Navy SEAL bodyguards, and another staffer in a fiery siege that should never have been allowed to succeed.

Those damn emails

Hillary Clinton maintained a resident server that was woefully inadequate for the task of National Security matters and violated classified procedure. It was successfully hacked. As former state and intelligence officers of past administrations have testified, such indiscretions would have put them behind bars and ruined their careers, yet when it comes to Hillary Clinton, there always seems to be a double standard. She continually operates beyond acknowledgment of the law. Deleting thousands of emails prior to being forced to relinquish her server to the FBI in March should have justified charges of the destruction of evidence pertinent to a federal investigation, however the rules never seem to apply to the Clintons.

Another myth

For those who continue to maintain that the Benghazi investigation was targeted at Hillary's presidential campaign consider this. There are 7 Democrats on a panel of 12 members headed by Trey Gowdy. Do you think that the lock and step Democrats are going to torpedo Clinton? Hardly!

US general weighs in

General Jerry Boykins asks why the Foreign Response Emergency Team was ordered to stand down! General Boykin states that a stand down order went out to the Department of Defense and AFRICOM were ordered not to penetrate Libyan air space. A military unit in Tripoli was ordered not to intervene by a State Department. A US Marine Corps unit at Sinacola was also ordered not to respond. Boykin argues that a number of contingency plans were in place to execute emergency extraction and rescue procedures that could be executed by field commanders in the region. No White House staffer or State Department employee would have the authority to order a field commander to stand down. Only the President or Department of Defense could possibly have directed US military assets to refrain from a rescue operation. To date, numerous State Department employees who were seriously wounded have been quietly placed in medical facilities such as Bethesda intimidated into silence and sequestered from the public. Why? Ask yourself how this could have happened. The US military has a code of conduct that does not allow for its personnel to be left behind or abandoned, yet the Obama White House countermanded that long standing code of honor.

Damning questions

Further ask yourself how such a criminally negligent individual who has been allowed to worm out of prosecution numerous times in other scandals while alleging right wing conspiracy as well, has been allowed to continue to run for the presidency? How would any normal person's credibility not be tarnished or called into question? Are Democrats so intent upon getting a woman in the presidency that her criminality makes no difference at all? This is not an American conduct! These events do not portray patriotic values nor are these deplorable events conducive to national security. Why was our Consulate in Benghazi allowed to remain unsecured, insufficiently funded, why was Ambassador Stevens ignored when he knew an attack was imminent? The answers are not important to the Obama administration!
