Syria, The US, and Nerve Gas 

For eight years under the Obama White House the world felt the presence of a vacuum of leadership. Our allies no longer knew just where we stood and for that matter whether we would even be there if regional conflicts occurred. Under the faulty State Department of the Obama Administration not even our own overseas federal employees knew whether or not the government had their backs as Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty, and Sean Smith would tell you if they were alive, and they’re not which should tell you something!

Incompetence

In the two terms of the Obama White House we watched the emergence of the illicit “Arab Spring” which consisted of Egypt falling into the hands of the Muslim Brotherhood and President Morsi, a friend of Hillary Clinton’s, and the fall of Libya and overthrow of Qaddafi once again delivered into the hands of Islamic error groups now using the nation as a training safe haven. President Obama, continually incapable of keeping his mouth shut, telegraphed his intentions to the terrorist insurgents of Iraq giving the US timetable of troop withdrawal to our enemies because he could not help but take credit for his at best questionable deeds!

Lacking humility

After once again opening his big mouth over the successful President Bush initiated effort to kill Osama Bin Laden, Seal team Six would end up suffering a number of bloody retributions at the hands of Islamic terrorists under questionable circumstances! In one such incident several Seal Team Six soldiers were loaded into a helicopter with several terrorist prisoners resulting in a fatal crash that killed all of them! Many former military personnel questioned the flawed wisdom of such an operation. Osama bin Laden was even given burial out at sea from a US Naval warship under Islamic ceremonial rites! I wonder how much respect he showed all those he unceremoniously slaughtered in the course of his terrorist attacks?

Without sentimentality

It was common knowledge that President Obama was yanked off the golf course he so loved and spent so much time at and was delivered to the White House Situation RoomHouse Situation Room in order to witness the live Seal Team Six operation that found Osama Bin laden in his compound just 10 miles from the very capital of Pakistan and executed him! Such examples of an egotistical coward are the true legacy of a Commander in Chief, who attempted like most liberals to impose his ideology upon others who did not care and should not have been subjected to such arrogance!

Aiding the enemy

In eight years AG Eric Holder wanted to extend US Constitutional rights to Islamic terrorist soldiers captured and imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay while President Obama nearly emptied a facility intended to keep these dangerous enemies off US soil! In those years, a generous taxpayer funded array of improvements were installed for the enjoyment and edification of these murderers as they awaited being let loose again so they could rejoin their buddies in the Middle East killing US allies and innocent civilians all over again! They enjoyed sumptuous Muslim cooking recipes, a full length soccer field to stay in shape with and blow off some steam, and last but not least, a spa for those tired aching bones that come with being a captured soldier of terror! All at the generous authorization of President Obama, who couldn’t be bothered with comforting the parents of the 4 Americans killed at Benghazi who departed the White House even more agitated and depressed after leaving the First Lady Michelle and Barack who were cool and unsympathetic to say the least!

Traitors!

Let us also reflect on President Obama’s pardon of Bowe Bergdahl, who deserted his post and got 6 of his buddies killed in the resulting search after his disappearance. As the US and our allies continued reeling from the Iranian boat attacks on American shipping and a humiliating capture of our Naval servicemen. We can also fondly recall the President Obama pardon of Chelsea Manning of the US Army who gave away 200 thousand military documents to our enemies because he was supposedly mad at his gay lover! Let us not forget that Chelsea was allowed to continue his sex change hormonal therapy while in prison too!

How and Why

If we are to review just how President Obama’s legacy resulted in the need for an attack upon a Syrian airfield thanks to the brutal nerve gas assault upon innocent women and children just days ago as Democrats and the left allege that Vladimir Putin and President Trump share some kind of camaraderie let us sentimentally reflect upon the Iranian Nuke Deal as well since Syrian President Assad is basically a puppet of Russia and Iran and is no doubt fighting a proxy war on behalf of the two hostile regimes. Now, in view of just a few of the major foreign policy failures carried out by the Obama State Department let’s not forget how we were assured by John Kerry and Susan Rice that all nerve gas weapons had been removed by UN inspectors with the rock solid assurances of the Russians and President Putin.

The buck stops here

Now, when anyone asks how did we get to this point where the last resort (military action) had to be exercised? Not just because we are now under a Republican administration, not because the GOP are war mongers, not because President Obama did such a bang up job of keeping the US out of harm’s way, but because the very essence of the Obama legacy in foreign policy was to abandon US presence in the world and embolden our enemies as he dismissed the rise of ISIS labeling them as the “JV Team” in his all seeing all knowing wisdom that was so far reaching that it was reported that he (the President) did not even bother to attend early morning intelligence briefings at the White House.

The inheritance

As a result of all this less than amusing and negligent conduct by Obama newly inaugurated President Donald Trump not only finds himself in a complex world of hostile actors, but also gets to contend with a lying mainstream media who has protected an impotent former President Obama and even refused to report on what in any other era of US history would have been considered treasonous acts by a Commander in Chief. President Trump has already in a short time indicated a level of leadership and instilled a confidence in American affairs that has not been felt in more than 8 years under Obama and in the closing days of an embattled George W. Bush. This is the defining foreign policy legacy that made an attack upon Syria not only necessary but eminent!
