By republishing news articles in their entirety you may be exposing this site to a copyright infringement lawsuit. And a ‘Fair Use Notice’ may not provide legal protection. Therefore, in order to comply with DMCA, as well as Ning’s Terms of Service, it is necessary for 12160 to initiate a policy to avoid reposting news articles in their entirety. The following applies to any article repost on this site including blogs, forum discussions, group discussions, and comments.

@ Maria, well I am not so concerned about this now since I added a new dmca reporting page.

It didnt help all that much having bold large letters informing members, for 20 people still posted blogs and even 3 still did it after being asked not to 2- or 3 times. We haven't had a corporate dmca complaint in years, yet our host could pull the site over just one.

I am more concerned with members reporting us to our web hosting company for "abuse" .
