By republishing news articles in their entirety you may be exposing this site to a copyright infringement lawsuit. And a ‘Fair Use Notice’ may not provide legal protection. Therefore, in order to comply with DMCA, as well as Ning’s Terms of Service, it is necessary for 12160 to initiate a policy to avoid reposting news articles in their entirety. The owners have legal obligations they must comply with and I would think that everyone here, as guests, should be willing to shoulder the responsibility of seeing to it that their actions bring no harm to the site.
