I have received 813 ning invites since the beginning of this year. And most if not all come from only a handful of people. I have figured out the best way to deal with this is to remove them from my friends list. Otherwise you will continue to get them, simply blocking a sender from one ning page does not stop them from continuing to send out invites from others.
My question is, how can one belong to so many groups ,and why do they want us all to join so many.
Could it be a purposeful distraction, or is this some mental disorder?

I get those all the time too! I just look at them as spam and delete, delete, delete....... But it does get to be a pain in the arse at times though! Not like I already get enough spam!!!!!!

I can name one person who I have received countless Ning invites from but I won't. This person is not active or never was active at 12.160, yet I've gotten Ning invites from this member to join dozens of other Ning networks.
Best thing to do is to "de-friend" the offending user and if you get Ning invites, disable them to where you get no invites from that particular user and eventually the invites should stop.
James you'll probably have a more difficult time than most of us since you're probably the most active, but in theory it should work for you too.
