In Search for a Search Engine
What are the Search Engines for?
The above question may seem futile as the answer to it should be self evident. Aren't search engines for distribution of information? We are painfully beginning to realise that they are not. Their main function, rather than finding information for us, is manipulation of the public opinion. That my friends, is SOCIAL ENGINEERING.
Startpage, an alternative search engine markets itself as an alternative to the GREAT Google. However, this is what they say - in their own words.
"How we made search private - You can’t beat Google when it comes to online search. So we’re paying them to use their brilliant search results in order to remove all trackers and logs. The result: The world’s best and most private search engine. Only now you can search without ads following you around, recommending products you’ve already bought. And no more data mining by companies with dubious intentions. We want you to dance like nobody’s watching and search like nobody’s watching."
All fine and dandy, we've now got "The world’s best and most private search engine", really? The search engine Google that Startpage uses as a basis for their search results is corrupt! It filters information, leaves out important sites, and stacks the search results in an order that is favorable to their agenda. And they are actually PAYING them for the crappy search results! Startpage has rooted out only one ugly feature of the Google manipulation machine. At least they keep the searches private.
The price Startpage pays for using the corrupt Google is too high in loss of important information. Don't they have any choice? What happened to their earlier ixquick search? Why was it killed and buried in deap silence? Why don't they make their own crawler bots to dig up the information themselves. Oh, how I miss the good old Altavista search engine that was far superior to today's Google. And that was already twenty years ago. "You can’t beat Google when it comes to online search." - a load of BS.
We really need a search engine that is not manipulated like the corrupt Google!
CALL FOR ACTION
Contact Startpage and let them know they are doing a lousy job as a search engine. Give them a ticket. Send an email and tell them we need a serious search engine with information, not a social engineering tool to twist our opinion! They may be the only search engine that would take our wish seriously. They have tried to serve us in the past and should get back to it again.

Good news. There are alternatives. Just stumbled to one.
Try this http://www.finecomb.com the name tells it all. You can do an exlusive 12160 search with this.
And then there is the dark web, they say ten times the size of the Internet. More of that in http://www.toxigon.com but be careful. Don't buy drugs readily available on it. Or something else...

Yeap they're are censored to fuck! Even if you search verbatim - such as "Why Epstein is not dead" - nothing will show and if he does it will be pages down and after other searches that have nothing like what's in the title "Why Epstein is not dead" - They've been doing this for sometime,yet gone into super 'restriction' mode, for as you say it's all to do with social engineering and "selling a false narrative" as opposed to searches finding the truth.
