Crushing another wasp in my window shutter
Am I a sadist or did I stutter?
Killed before it could even mutter
Some might say my mind is in the gutter,
Being alone seems to be the new sensation
They managed to lockdown an entire nation
Keeping us alive on minimum rations
How fools marvel at a border invasion,
For those who don't care-blackout news
Since you're ignorant and have no views
The anchorman recites fairytales right on cue
The powers that be how little they worry about you,
Some think these are the end times
Others think their fate simply turns on a dime
While Washington DC pumps out slime
Murder and pedopehlia no longer a crime,
They burn down cities and assault the police
Entombed in their delusions they won't allow peace
They may be walking but they don't know they're deceased
The mental capacity of our society has largely decreased,
Call me a fool if I pray upon bended knee
But widespread insanity is all that I see
You can lie to yourself if it makes you feel free
The traitors have all earned their decree,
They speak of aliens in our atmosphere
But could they simply be demons who have always been here?
Sorry I didn't show up for the conformity ceremony my Dear
I'm losing altitude due to wind shear,
Looking out over vast gardens of stone
Those brave soldiers reduced to dust and bones
Veterans it seems are on their own
While illegal migrants get free cell phones,
Don't ask if this is my own waking nightmare
What happened to a world where the ones in charge don't care?
Our children sit with hypnotized stares
Don't even ask me why nothing seems fair.
