If you scroll down, on the right side, there is a links section with many alt media and alt political sites, A to Z.  A large number are, sadly, defunct now.

Confusion is a once classified method of making a person hypnotically suggestible. A decade or so ago I webbed the first pages about "The Confusion Technique" - then hundreds of pages appearred to swamp the search engines... 

Google The Confusion Technique yields a couple pages I put up, here is page 45 of a once classified cia interrogation manual (KUBARK Interrogation manual)  describing the technique, which works on the "orderly obstinate type"
