At least one family member should have and know how to do sutures imho...its easy.
Brought home lice shampoo for my medical trunk two days ago and bam today neice has them. Mom shaved her brothers head lol.
it seems like every time i pick up something i have a hunch about, someone needs it am getting a hunch about antibiotics real bad, just all the “cillins” particularly Amoxicillin, granulated fiber for your switchover time to the emergency food supply and to save on toilet paper/toilet paper space (this works great).
Vitamins should look like giant horse pills from whole food along with probiotic enzymes for the next year. Include, “Zinc, B complex, D3, C, Multi. I know the navy uses “Vitalzym” brand probiotic to inhibit the reproductive of viruses, but its real expensive.
Someone gave me like 16g of books on a sd drive that has all the stuff exept update on Nurses Guides for drugs etc. all my nursing books cost 50+ dollars, some over 100! I wish now I would have bought what I could have in digital so I could share those.
Is there some way I could upload my books for everyone? Right now I just made some flash thingies and people are saying they cant read them on their computer…frustrating.
And lets see what else…SILVER. I read it takes 1000 gallons of water to reconstitute a year of dehydrated food so its kind of like the main thing but no one stores that much even though some have waaaaay more than a year of dehydrate food and need double that for everything else minimum. You can buy a 300 water bladder on amazon but I think that had cost me close to 300 and when I got it it was looking like very flimsy. It was said that it was shaped for the back of a truck.
Imagine if you had a small well. My uncle had them all over when I was little in Harbin I remember. They're probably still there I always thought the climate there was the same as in Salt Lake. I know they can dry up thogh.
What do you think is a good prep for next year?
Bikes? Warm cloths, were going to need some waterproof boots, Whey and casein for protein and forget your freezer full of expensive beef and power bill, canned tuna, salmon, and spam last very long and still cheap. How about old shoes for ppl? People always need shoes right? Especially in a emergency suddenly everyone has a tire on their feet. i know, im obsessed with footwear. thats like the number one repeat comment i have to keep deleting in this post.
If I don’t stop now I never will, anyway stay dangerous.

Great preps. I think the best prep for next year is a light trailer, I actually purchased one, hardly used it, but for the cost of it, the trailer paid for itself. Everyone wanted to use it for something - run to the tip, move furniture, firewood, small livestock ...anything. I found as soon as I got it back it was gone again to someone else. I loaned it out free of charge to all and what I noticed was I'ld get help from them when I needed it -sometimes quickly. (When my electrical wires dangerously fizzed out once without warning an election who had used my trailer a few times immediately came, made the place safe and organised full repairs for Nothing saving me hundreds of dollars and maybe my life. Others will leave me some firewood or coal, and I had others even take my own rubbish to the tip, saving me time and hassle.) A trailer open doors to good people that you may not have met otherwise. ps.. a tandem one with a stock crate is versatile and easy to tow. I would put this on the top of the prep list for anyone with space to park one if bugging out, at retreat, or in the city. You've got it when you need it and so has everyone else.
