This Cold War-era video by the U.S. Air Force was supposed to reassure the public that nuclear power was safe at a distance, yet does anything but.
The five men - who incredibly were all volunteers - cower in shock as a thunderous explosion cracks through the sky, causing the ground to shake violently.
