How long must I be punished for past sins
Perhaps I should have worn a badge of tin,
A cloudy sky of deeds in the past
Funny how nothing is meant to last
Wondering if an evil spell has been cast
The sea of hopelessness much to vast,
Estrangement has become an invincible foe
How does alienation grow?
Perhaps from the poison seeds I sowed
Remembering when the warmth of love would glow.
