True, Peter.

Odds are that Europe doesn't choose freedom; too painful in the short term (downright ugly even) and even if there was a politician, or party, with the cojones to suggest a path to freedom they'd have no chance in an election.

They'll likely go with some clever plan espoused by an equivocal left-wing wacko because in the short term they won't have to pay the proverbial piper but, will end up in complete misery if not total catastrophe.

 

Wait....this sounds an awful lot like the choices the citizens in the U.S. are going to have to make.

Yep. There is a finite number of steps govts can take in this scenario and a brief perusal of the steps taken in the past 100 yrs will give a clear view of what few steps remain.
