The centuries-long search for the fountain of youth has led researchers to an unlikely source - a tiny worm.
The nematode worm C. elegans can put itself into 'famine mode' researchers have discovered- a state where it does not age.
They say a new study of the phenomenon could one day lead to a drug for humans.

Getting further and further away from our natural ways of living soon nothing is left so not worth living here anyways.
There's always somebody searching for the 'fountain of youth.' It's a nice concept, yes because even I don't want to grow old and die but it is what it is.
I don't think we should be messing with mother nature. Just look at the four seasons for example. With everything there is a season and a reason for why things must be that way on planet earth.
Do the flowers who wilt and die or the leaves falling off of the trees in fall seek for anything more than what nature has befallen them? NO, because it is the natural process in nature.
Not all is lost in the fall of autumn because all that withered and died have become a part of the whole. All that green energy hibernates underneath the soil in winter to eventually bounce back in the spring with new sprouts, buds, leaves and beautiful flowers once again. And so life's cycle continues onward...
We live, we die and what we do in between that time is of the utmost importance! But we don't ever really die... our matter simply changes but never ceases to exist... IMO! WE like the green life become a part of the whole.
