To many, they are merely figments of the imagination epitomizing either the mark of creative genius or insanity depending upon the context in which they are mentioned.

However, UFO’s or extraterrestrials may prove to be one of the greatest apologetic challenges of the twenty-first century.

These entities (either real or imagined) are increasingly coming to be seen as gods or spiritual guides among those that have embraced worldviews that do not want to acknowledge humanity’s dependence on the all-powerful and holy God of the Bible but who are unsettled by the prospects of a universe without guidance from beings more advanced along the chain of existence.

It is the purpose of this project to examine a number of the spiritual beliefs surrounding UFO’s in popular culture and to contrast these with the orthodox Christian worldview.

This will be accomplished by detailing a history of the highlights of the UFO phenomena and by elaborating on a number of the assumptions and movements that have sprung up surrounding this phenomena.

By placing these ideas into a larger social and cultural context, it can be seen how worldviews have shifted over time and how Christians need to adapt apologetic approaches in order to reach those mired in these developing systems of thought and belief.

Jay Weidner talks about Gaia and Archons. Michael Tsarion talks about something similar to Bible stories. Cast down archangels sound similar to competing beings traversing across the cosmos and one being quarantined on Earth. Then, before Crowley, John Dee making a pact with the stranded beings which ultimately brings us to CERN opening portals to escape this place after splitting the atom leading to fusion.

Less, You are truly the last person I want to argue with, but even Dr. Steven Greer has dropped the "space brother" stuff. I mean, sure, maybe there are some alien / spiritual creatures around that are good. I hope so. But the majority of cases of abduction and one-on-one interaction of any kind are very, very negative. Trevor James Constable's early book on the subject reports cases like a military cargo plane barely being landed before the pilot died. The outside was covered in deep dents, and the airmen inside died from what looked like shark bites. This subject has actually touched my life personally, and my grandparents' as well. And it wasn't positive.

When you consider the fact that two former USAF intelligence officers reviewed the Project Blue Book files and determined demonic behavior while long time proponent of the extraterrestrial theory Stanton Friedman concurs with the demonic explanation I think that the UFO sensation can definitely be used as a tool to destroy traditional belief systems and further the global government agenda. What if the anti-Christ were an alleged alien from another world who proposed world peace and a plan to arrive at it? Look at how advanced our hologram technology has become!

Less, we would have to first assume that we're being told the truth about space. Galileo got house arrest for challenging the Catholic church while others were being torn limb from limb for whistling on a Tuesday. His patrons were all Jesuits. If we are being told the truth about space, then the idea of ships traversing hundreds of light years, with beings aboard, I just don't see it. Watch some docu on Skinwalker Ranch and David Paulides, then come back and tell me what you think. Our overlords are really fond of demons and fallen angels. Have you ever heard about aliens doing anything good? Watch any of the researchers on abductees, and tell me that doesn't sound demonic. And of course there's the first depiction of an "alien", by Aleister Crowley -

As with most everything I believe, I really wish I was wrong, but I strongly feel I'm not.

An interesting topic about an issue kept much in secrecy and controlled by governments. J.R., you say without much justification it is silly to believe in extraterrestrials and then refer to existence of demons. Are the demons then only earth bound and not of external origin i.e. extraterrestrial. What would those demons be made of?

The again, what is silly? Being a member of a destructive species that continuously kills its own by millions I find it contradictory and lacking all authority to refer to intelligence or silliness. Mankind at its current state is incredibly silly. Furthermore, isn't it silly to categorically declare that there is no life anywhere else than on earth when just our galaxy, the Milky Way, consists of around 200'000'000'000 stars?

How many stars are there in the Universe?

They're not extraterrestrials. That's just silly, if you think about it. The renowned researchers, like Jacques Vallée, have come to the conclusion that they are demonic. I agree with them.
