Slice by Slice
She’s never wrong she’s always right
You get the blame when she starts the fight
Good luck brother in bed tonight
Funny when she leaves she’s nowhere in sight,
She loves to accuse you of flirting when you’re not
Yet, around other men she acts like she’s hot
You always wonder why she gets angry a lot
A grown woman with the maturity of a little tot,
They always say, “Happy wife, happy life.”
So what about you on the other end of the knife?
When could you count on her in the middle of strife?
A reincarnated patriot playing the fife?
It’s always her choice or you will pay the price
What is her mood today, just a toss of the dice?
Whatever happened to a couple’s paradise?
Tearing your heart out slice by slice,
When you go to the movies it better be her choice
When around her friends you never have a voice
She can spend hours with her best friend Joyce
Yet, around your family she gets easily annoyed,
The modern day marriage isn’t it a sham
It all seemed like fun on the webcam
When it comes to attention she’s a regular ham
Don’t try to compete you’ll only get slammed,
“Where were you last night about three?”
“Don’t you check my cell phone it belongs to me.”
“I don’t belong to you. I have a right to be free.”
“Forget about that promise that I’d make you happy.”
Always on the phone but won’t tell you who
Always gets angry if you try and view
Seems she’s looking for someone all shiny and new
It’s all about her and not about you,
The modern day marriage, just look what they’ve done
Politically correct and without any fun
If she doesn’t get her way, she’ll come undone
You tried to make her happy everyway under the sun,
Now she’s telling you she’s found another man
It was all your fault this is why she planned
You built your house on a foundation of sand
Now from your house you find you’ve been banned.
