TELL CONGRESS TO VOTE NO-Sign the Petition to Congress to Stop the Escalation
President Obama has decided to send more than 30,000 extra troops to Afghanistan, at a cost of more than $100 billion/year. But America cannot afford a war that does not make us safer, and Congress has the power to stop the escalation. Vote NO on any spending bill that would send more troops to Afghanistan.

I have a personal opinion about this and war in general. I am the Mother of a veteran Marine and the grandmother of an Army Sgt. I hate war period of any kind. My children have both been deployed to Iraq more than once. They are now back on American soil. I do NOT want the war to continue in either country. But the war rages on in both. Gen. Mc Chrystal asked for 40,000 troops to be sent as back up a few months ago as our American soldiers were out numbered and being killed because of not enough soldiers. Now if you are going to be in a friggin war then give it all you have got..but if your not then PULL OUR TROOPS OUT NOW AND BRING THEM HOME! What I see the poor excuse of of prez has no heart for our military and really does NOT CARE ABOUT OUR CHILDREN BEING KILLED IN A SENSELESS WAR! If my grandson get orders to be deployed THIS GRANDMA IS GOING TO GET IN THE FACE OF THE PERSON THAT GAVE THAT ORDER! I HAVE IN FACT CALLED DOWN HIS SGT. (WHEN MY GRANDSON WAS A PFC) IN THE PASS AND CUT HIM DOWN TO SIZE. And he kept saying I am sorry mam, I will find out for you and take care of it. Well the BS stopped there!
