Here on this barren isle
Living in personal exile
Feeling a bit defiled
Either that or the entire world is in denial,
Whether or not you would walk with me a while
Share a stretch of the green mile
I promise you won’t be on trial
Though the remarks of the fools will likely be vile,
The cognitive dissonance so prevalent here
In and out of their deaf ears
As they whine over their self-entitled fears
Standing stunned in the headlights like deer,
The fools who would celebrate the death of the innocent
Thinking comic book characters are real life magnificent
They exist in a concrete jungle dumbed down and malevolent
Mocking anything that could be heaven sent,
Walk with me a while
You might or might not like my style
You might find a reason to actually smile
Haven’t we both felt revile?
What do I see in that reflection?
A product of natural selection?
Perhaps just introspection
No doubt you’re suffering from the dehumanizing infection,
Had a shot at the miracle mile
But, blew it instead without a reason to smile
So, here I sit in exile
Where the casualties have been neatly piled.
"Destroying the New World Order"
